Dream Description 09

I was on a beach in Massachusetts. It was a beautiful day. The sun was hot and a breeze crept by. I thought it would be nice to go for a swim so I waded out until the water was waist deep. I'm not a very good swimmer so I didn't go out very far. I was floating on my back up and down the gentle waves.

As I was looking up the sky grew dark and it became very windy. I rolled over onto my stomach to swim back to shore. I thought "Oh no! How did I get way out here?" I had drifted more than a hundred fifty yards from shore. I panicked—I couldn't swim that far. I didn't know what to do.

Just then a beautiful blond girl surfaced beside me. She was gorgeous! She had on a white bikini that made her look unbelieveably tanned. she told me to hold her around the waist so I did. She dived straight down and I was with her. The thought that raced through my mind was "I'm not holding my breath—why am I not drowning?"

As we descended it became brighter. The source of the light was far below. We came to a place that looked like an ancient city under a bubble. We entered through a small airlock. My eyes were popping out of my head! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Plants that I've never seen before with flowers alive with unimaginable color were everywhere.

My curiosity was getting the best of me and I asked the girl where we were. She didn't answer. Instead, she looked me over very carefully. I asked her what her name was and still she said nothing. She was so beautiful that I rushed toward her, held her, and kissed her. Still she said nothing. We continued on our tour and it seemed we were not in an ancient city, but in an advanced civilization. Everything was in perfect order and harmony.

My tour guide said abruptly, "It's time!"

I found myself back on the surface. The sun was shining again and I was less than twenty yards from shore.
